Inspired by the need for a Muslim-friendly space in the professional world, Zubar and Humayra created Hulm Club. Disheartened by the absence of inclusive spaces, they were determined to create a community where faith and ambition could thrive together.
With the support of the dream team – Mohamed and Nabilah – Hulm Club’s inaugural co-working event in January 2023 drew an overwhelming response, filling up within hours. Since then, we’ve celebrated member achievements, witnessed new business ventures sprout, and seen ideas evolve into tangible realities.
Our vision has always been clear: to provide an inclusive sanctuary where Muslim visionaries can work, learn, innovate, explore, and connect without compromise. And as our community grows, so does our commitment to excellence and achievement.

Zubar brings a wealth of experience in sparking fresh ideas. He also lends his expertise as a mentor at Techstars, guiding aspiring entrepreneurs on their journey. Inspired by Islam’s rich heritage, Zubar envisions a future where Muslims lead the charge in global innovation and entrepreneurship, shaping a brighter tomorrow for all.
Humayra Hanif

Meet Humayra Hanif, co-founder at Hulm Club, our co-working space tailored for the Muslim community. As a tech lead with over a decade in the tech industry, she’s honed her skills in software development and leadership, particularly through her impactful work at startups. She’s also a passionate writer, speaker, and mentor, dedicated to community growth and global impact through tech. She serves as a VC scout with Ada Ventures, seeking out promising (pre-)seed ventures for investment and contributing to the innovation ecosystem.
